A summer holiday in Gastein for the whole family, young and old a wonderful experience. Around hotel Rader there is a lot to do for children, a trampoline in the garden, many outdoor games, a river where you can fish and of course, Tom the hotel dog. You can also buy a Salzburg Card, it gives you a free or discounted visit to many attractions in our beautiful Bundesland .
 
Walking
From our hotel are many footpaths from light to heavier and easy day trips. Enjoy the beautiful nature, silence and tranquility. Take a trip to one of the pastures, and drink fresh milk, made on the pasture! Directly past our hotel starts Elisabeth Promenade, a walkway from Alt Böckstein to Bad Gastein. The walk takes about ¾ hour. After arriving in Bad Gastein you can take the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade, and discover the wonderful Kötschachtal. Allow time for this hike, about 5 to 6 hours, and remember to watch the waterfall in Bad Gastein. Spectacular, he just splits the village in two.
