Nearly at the end of Gasteinertal you can find Alt Bockstein, a village which has arisen in the 17th century. In this fairytale village, at the romantic square, you can find hotel Rader. The hotel is very well centered, so you can reach facilities easily. In winter there is a free ski bus available at two minutes walking distance, which brings you to Bad Gastein and Sportgastein. The langlaufloipe with school and rental is practically in the back garden. In the summer there are many tracks you can start nearby.
